MIA 2012 and Matlala outreach

HELLO WORLD

This is one of the most excitement moment ,it was after 22 months of meetings ,phone calls and emails. Finally the days come to pass, where God allows me to be part of his great plan .We gathered together at PRETORIA FOUNTAINS VALLEYS.It  was  the celebration of what GOD is busy doing in Africa ,the next thing was the the training to go to the field and be the salt to the nations. We were trained to go and be the salt and to shine in the world in different ways. Different ministries trained different people to different places. I had the privelege to attend sport ministries which was awesome .The training was for three days after that we were send out to apply what we have learnt to reality.I went to Matlala where I joined  the other outreach which was planned by different organization with same goal of bring glory to the Lord.

Matlala Outreach

This has been existing for the past 26 years ,however this was my second time to be part of this outreach.Their focus is on reaching out the participants as well as teaching them to go to the community and be the light of GOD. The most inspiring thing about this outreach is that they do not only go and preach the word but they also walk the talk by help the community .I had such a good time in sport ministries teaching the soccer skills and how to apply them to life skills .

We did the UBABALO skills which is the most easier way of teaching gospel through soccer. We also find out that all skills needed in soccer are needed in real life.I saw the importance of prayer in many children at the camp like never before in my life. All this was the ups of the outreach and the downs is that i felt that the leaders did not treat the people from the community with respect.I was also disappointed with the 2 projectors that were stolen during the night. We still do not know if it’s the people from the community or the participants.

SHORT TESTIMONY

This is something that really meant a lot to me. We experience a big challenge of boys who were stealing soccer balls .One day the boy stole the ball and we chased him but we could not catch him ,so i went to his parents and tell his grandmother what he did.As we were coming back I prayed that may this boy start to see God’s light. The next day the boy came back to the sport ground to ask for forgiveness and brought the ball.

Thank you father God for who you are in my life .Thank for this blessing that you just showed me ,may it be more and more to other people’s lives and bring the glory to you.

blessing to you people GOD LOVES AND CARES FOR YOU!!!!!!
